Bucks make decision on Damian Lillard, Giannis for Game 4

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without their two best players for Game 4 of their playoff series against the Indiana Pacers.

Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have been ruled out for Sunday’s game at Indiana due to injuries.

Antetokounmpo has missed Milwaukee’s first three playoff games due to a calf injury he suffered in the regular season on April 9. There have been reports that he has a chance to return later in the series against the Pacers, but he has not yet been cleared.

Lillard has been bothered by an Achilles injury for weeks that he reaggravated during the fourth quarter of the Bucks’ 121-118 loss to Indiana in Game 3 on Friday night. Lillard was able to finish the game, but head coach Doc Rivers essentially admitted that the veteran point guard was a decoy.

Lillard led the Bucks to a win in Game 1 with 35 points. He then scored 34 in Milwaukee’s Game 2 loss and 28 on Friday night. He has carried the load for the Bucks in Antetokounmpo’s absence. With both sidelined, the Bucks are at serious risk of falling into a 3-1 series hole on Sunday.
